First Glimpse of the Supreme x Nike Air Max 1 ’87 in “Varsity Purple”

The highly awaited collaboration is expected to launch on Air Max Day later this month.

Supreme’s Spring/Summer 2025 season is in full swing, and with it comes an exciting Nike collaboration. After teasing the Air Max 1 ‘87 in its lookbook last month, Supreme has finally unveiled a first look at the “White” colorway. This version features an all-white upper with a red Supreme box logo on the tongue tag.

The collection, first rumored last year, is expected to include four colorways: “Black,” “White,” “Varsity Purple,” and “Speed Yellow.” While the “Black” pair was previously revealed, a first look at the “Varsity Purple” iteration has now surfaced, showcasing Supreme’s signature “World Famous” script on the heel counter and a debossed “SUPREME” wordmark on the midsole. White “World Famous” callouts also appear on the aglets.

Although Supreme’s latest Nike collaboration includes a range of sportswear pieces, the Air Max 1 ‘87 lineup was notably absent from the release, reinforcing speculation that all four colorways will drop on Air Max Day (March 26). Stay tuned for an official announcement.
