Before the silhouette makes its comeback for the first time in nearly twenty years.

As Nike gears up to release the Air Max TL 2.5 for its Holiday 2024 collection, unofficial previews have highlighted several colorways yet to be officially announced. One of the standout versions is a "Black/Metallic Silver" design, featuring a mostly black upper with silver accents on the overlays, mesh, and tongue. The shoe also includes tonal branding and an Air Max 97-inspired full-foot Air cushioning unit.

Originally part of Nike's "Total Air" series in 2006, the Air Max TL 2.5 has been revived as a retrofuturistic lifestyle sneaker. It was first reintroduced during the COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS FW24 runway show in January and later featured in Nike’s SNKRS showcase in June. While an official release date hasn't been announced, the "Black/Metallic Silver" colorway is expected to drop before the end of the year, or possibly in Nike’s spring 2025 lineup.
