The Ducks of a Feather program returned with unique “The Woods” and “Lumber Yard” colorways.
March Madness arrived, and although only one of the University of Oregon’s two teams qualified for the Big Dance that year, Nike celebrated the school and its Tinker Hatfield–designed basketball court at Matthew Knight Arena with two new Air Max 95 colorways.
Released as part of the student-athlete-focused Ducks of a Feather program, “The Woods” and “Lumber Yard” colorways were unveiled. “The Woods” paid homage to the Pacific Northwest’s lush environment, featuring moss-textured overlays reminiscent of forest floors, while the brown “Lumber Yard” edition combined “Desert Sand,” “Baroque Brown,” and “Mink Brown” to create a logging-inspired design. Both pairs were completed with special co-branding and packaging.
They were initially released through Flight Club in New York, Los Angeles, and Miami on March 21, followed by a GOAT launch for Air Max Day on March 26, with a starting price of $220 USD.
