VERDY Unveils His Nike SB Dunk Low "Vick"

Verdy and Nike SB have joined forces once again to introduce a new collaboration set to hit the market in 2024. This time, they're unveiling an SB Dunk Low inspired by Verdy's renowned Vick character. The announcement comes shortly after a sneak peek at another SB Dunk Low inspired by Visty, another of Verdy's beloved characters. Scheduled to be part of Nike SB’s summer lineup, the first glimpses of the "Vick" edition recently surfaced online, courtesy of @fuelkicks on Instagram.

While the initial images provide only a limited view, it's evident that the shoe features a predominantly white base with black co-branded detailing on the tongue. According to reports from Sneaker Files, the "Vick" SB Dunk Low will adopt a classic white and black color scheme to reflect the character's signature hues. Additionally, the shoe is expected to incorporate faux fur detailing, reminiscent of the previously mentioned Visty pair, along with suede and leather accents. As is customary for Verdy's collaborations with Nike SB, the release is anticipated to include special packaging and extra laces.

Apart from his upcoming SB Dunk Lows, Verdy has previously collaborated with Nike SB on projects such as the Wasted Youth x Nike SB Dunk Low in 2021 and the Girls Don’t Cry x Nike SB Dunk Low in 2019. However, the Vick and Visty iterations mark the first time his signature characters take center stage instead of his clothing labels.

News of Verdy's return to the Nike SB Dunk Low surfaced a few months ago, initially teasing the "VISTY" edition. Now, with the unveiling of the "Vick" iteration sporting the iconic "Panda" color blocking, anticipation builds further. The sneaker features a hairy upper with the character's face embroidered on the lateral heel. Rumored to be a friends and family exclusive, enthusiasts eagerly await more details and imagery as the release approaches.
