The latest collaboration introduces an olive suede construction with exposed stitching and a fold-down heel that transforms the sneaker into a mule.

Union Los Angeles and Nike are joining forces once again to expand their collaborative Dunk Low lineup with a new “Bamboo” colorway. Following their previous Passport Pack project, the latest release takes a more understated approach while introducing a functional change to the classic low-top silhouette. The new model will arrive as part of a two-pair collection, accompanied by a matching “Black” colorway.

The “Bamboo” edition is dressed in an olive-toned suede upper, giving the sneaker a muted and textured appearance. Exposed stitching around the toe box adds a handcrafted touch, while a small yellow Union tag is positioned above the side paneling for a subtle branding detail. The restrained color palette keeps the overall design clean while allowing the construction and detailing to stand out.

The most notable update can be found at the heel. Union has incorporated a collapsible rear construction that allows the wearer to fold the heel down and convert the Dunk Low into a mule-style shoe. This versatile adjustment gives the familiar silhouette a different look and provides an alternative way to wear the sneaker.

The new collaboration continues Union LA’s extensive history of working with Nike and Jordan Brand, following projects involving silhouettes such as the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 4, Cortez and Field General. With the “Bamboo” and “Black” versions, the latest project brings a functional twist to another Nike classic while maintaining Union’s recognizable approach to collaborative footwear.
