The highly anticipated sneaker comeback is accompanied by fresh Brain Dead x adidas releases, the launch of New Balance MADE in USA’s FW25 collection, and additional drops.

This week in sneakers is headlined by the long-awaited UNDEFEATED x Air Jordan 4, one of the most coveted Jordan collaborations of all time. The 2025 edition revives its legendary status with updates like a Nike Air logo on the heel and a Velcro “Rare Air” tongue, allowing wearers to swap patches for a customizable look.

Nike also takes the spotlight with the Astrograbber, a retro model from the 1970s that originally served as a football sneaker. Brought back through its partnership with Bode, it lands in fresh colorways such as “Aluminum,” “Fir,” and “Soft Yellow,” balancing vintage heritage with contemporary flair. Alongside this, the Cav Empt x Nike Air Max Dn8 “Pure Platinum” finally arrives in the U.S., boasting an all-over digital camo aesthetic across both the upper and sole unit.

From adidas, Brain Dead puts its experimental twist on the Japan Lo, outfitting the silhouette with flame-inspired overlays and playful palettes like blue-on-black, brown-on-yellow, and a rugged gray-olive version. New Balance, meanwhile, kicks off its Fall/Winter 2025 lineup with MADE in USA “Dark Camo” editions of the 990v6 and 992, layering camo tones of beige, green, navy, and gray over premium construction.

ASICS Skateboarding teams up with pro skater Gino Iannucci for the first time, reworking the Leggerezza FB, a silhouette rooted in a 1989 football cleat. The design highlights high-grade leather uppers and arrives in bold black-and-white or striking gold colorways. Adding to basketball offerings, the Nike KD 18 “Rise” honors Kevin Durant’s college legacy with burnt orange and off-white hues inspired by the University of Texas, dropping just as he begins his new chapter with the Houston Rockets.
