Grim Reaper symbols are added to the lateral heels.
Occasionally, Off-WhiteTM and Nike release footwear collections, and the most recent ones have a focus on the Air Force 1 Mid. We've already seen the pair produce an Air Force 1 colorway based on one owned by former NBA player Rasheed Wallace in 2001, as well as a "Pine Green" edition. Now, a forthcoming Off-WhiteTM x Nike Air Force 1 Mid SP "Varsity Maize" release has come to our attention.
Virgil Abloh's high-end streetwear brand uses a two-toned colour scheme for this new release. The overlays, ankle straps, laces, and heel tabs are finished in the shoe's named colour, while the perforated toe boxes, Swooshes, and quarter panels have angelic accents. The additional set of laces that connect onto the forefoot and the grim reaper symbols that are located on the lateral heels both serve as additional white decorations. The "Varsity Maize" zip ties and the medial walls include the standard Off-WhiteTM x Nike branding. A track spike-equipped whole yellow outsole and a clean white midsole piece ride down below.
These joint AF1s from Off-WhiteTM and Nike will probably go on sale for $205 USD in the near future.
