Palace Skateboards and Rizla came together for an unexpected yet fitting collaboration that celebrated their shared roots in British counterculture. Drawing inspiration from Rizla’s long-standing presence in music, street culture, and motorsports, the collection blended Palace’s bold streetwear aesthetic with Rizla’s iconic visual identity.
The 14-piece capsule took cues from Rizla’s MotoGP heritage, incorporating the brand’s recognizable pink, blue, and orange color palette across a range of apparel and accessories. Standout pieces included a race-inspired jacket, hoodies, rugby shirts, mesh jerseys, graphic T-shirts, and caps, all featuring co-branded graphics and vibrant motorsport-inspired details.
The collaboration felt natural due to the overlapping cultural histories of both brands. While Rizla had been a fixture of British counterculture for over two centuries, Palace built its reputation on authentic connections to skateboarding, music, and street culture. Together, they created a collection that reflected a shared spirit of creativity, individuality, and irreverence.
Accompanying the release was a campaign film set across London’s streets at night, highlighting the city that helped shape both brands. Through its visuals and storytelling, the project celebrated the cultural spaces and communities that connected Palace and Rizla long before they officially collaborated.
