An extremely rare Air Jordan 1 that was initially made available only in New York City in 2016 will supposedly see a formal release later this year.
A women's-only release of the black-and-red "Bred" Air Jordan 1 Satin is planned, according to Sneaker Files. The 2023 pair hasn't yet been seen in-hand, but like the previous model, it's anticipated to have an upper made entirely of satin.
At a NYC pop-up, the 2016 model (seen here) was only made available in 501 pairs. Each pair, which sold for $175 in 2016, had a unique number on the inner collar and was offered with matching satin clothing.
Additional information regarding the suspected "Satin Bred" Air Jordan 1 High for this year has been made public. The women's exclusive release will be available on October 18 for $180, according to @zSneakerheadz.
