Previously called the Sharkidon, the Field Jaxx is inspired by both the Zoom Spiridon and the Land Shark baseball cleat.
Travis Scott’s Nike Zoom Field Jaxx, originally referred to as the Sharkidon, made its debut with a limited shock drop during the MLB All-Star Game’s Home Run Derby. This release marked the first glimpse of the hybrid sneaker that blends elements from two iconic Nike designs: the Zoom Spiridon and the Land Shark baseball cleat. The Field Jaxx is distinctive for its large forefoot strap and Cactus Jack’s signature smiley face logo at the heel. Unlike many of Scott’s other collaborations, this sneaker does not feature the reversed Swoosh, a detail that has become a signature element in his Nike releases.
Looking ahead, a new colorway of the Zoom Field Jaxx, dubbed “Leche Blue,” is expected to drop in spring 2025. This version features a soft blue base with beige overlays and earthy brown accents, offering a more subtle yet bold color contrast. While official images have not been shared yet, early previews suggest a sleek and stylish design that fits Scott’s signature aesthetic. As the sneaker world eagerly anticipates its release, it’s clear that Travis Scott continues to expand his influence, not just in the world of sneakers, but also within Nike Baseball. This collaboration marks his first signature baseball shoe, further solidifying his diverse reach in the footwear industry.
