It was released to celebrate the silhouette’s 30th anniversary during the holiday season.
The Air Jordan 11 was set to have a notable moment as Nike celebrated the silhouette’s 30th anniversary, standing alongside other anticipated releases tied to the model’s legacy. While the Air Jordan 1 dominated anniversary conversations, the AJ11 quietly built momentum with confirmed returns and new introductions, including a refined women’s-exclusive colorway that initially circulated under the “Sail” and “Grand Finale” names.
That pair was later officially unveiled as the Air Jordan 11 “Pearl,” revealing a clean and elegant execution of off-white and grey tones. The sneaker featured a Pearl Grey patent leather mudguard paired with a soft Sail leather upper, complemented by a white midsole and a semi-translucent grey outsole. Subtle Metallic Silver accents appeared on the Jumpman branding, while a distinctive pearl chain detail added a celebratory touch befitting the anniversary theme.
After months of speculation and previews, Nike provided an official look confirming the final design and details ahead of launch. The Air Jordan 11 “Pearl” was scheduled to release on November 11 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers, carrying a retail price of $235 USD in women’s sizing.
