Nike Reveals the Pegasus Premium in Bold “Black/Hot Lava” Colors

Nike pushed the boundaries of its performance lineup with the Pegasus Premium “Black/Hot Lava,” blending technical innovation with bold style. Building on the classic Pegasus silhouette, this edition featured a stealthy black base punctuated by striking red accents, giving the shoe a dynamic, high-performance look. The dual-layered black mesh upper included a wide-knit toebox to optimize airflow, while ripstop panels across the toe and lower sidewalls added durability and structure for high-mileage runs. Reflective silver accents on the laces and tongue provided enhanced visibility during low-light sessions, making it functional as well as stylish.

The Pegasus Premium’s standout feature was its advanced midsole, which combined ZoomX and ReactX foam with a full-length sculpted Air Zoom unit to deliver explosive energy return while maintaining a stable ride. A subtle “Hot Lava” tint inside the Air Zoom bubble highlighted the innovative cushioning technology. The pair dropped in Spring 2026 with a retail price of $220 USD, offering runners and collectors a high-tech, visually striking addition to the Pegasus family.
