Nike Gives the Mind 002 a Gradient “Black/Indigo Burst” Makeover as the Silhouette Continues to Evolve

Nike introduces a fresh, gradient-driven look to the Mind 002.

Nike is taking the Mind 002 in a bolder direction with a new “Black/Indigo Burst/Hyper Punch/Metallic Platinum” colorway, replacing the model’s original monochromatic look with vibrant gradients and layered color blocking. The updated design highlights the silhouette’s sculptural upper, transforming it into a striking display of contrasting tones and materials.

A pink-to-purple gradient stretches across the upper, fading from the tongue to the heel, while Indigo Burst overlays at the toe and heel provide a cooler contrast. Bright Hyper Punch foam pods line the sides of the shoe, adding pops of color, while Metallic Platinum Swooshes introduce a reflective finish. A black mesh upper and matching midsole balance the vibrant palette, giving the sneaker a bold yet refined appearance.

Unlike the initial monochrome releases that emphasized the Mind 002’s unique shape, this version shifts the focus to color, using gradients and contrasting details to showcase the model’s architectural design.
