Glow-in-the-dark Japanese vinyl toys are celebrated.
Nike in its ever-expanding state, has consistently approached new theme concepts to present its iconic shapes in a novel method. This entails the Swoosh exploring ideas alone as well as working with artists, designers, franchisees, and others. Looking ahead to the company's anticipated releases for 2023, one theme has already distinguished itself with its distinctive method of merging footwear with well-known subjects. The "Sofvi" concept first appears on the freshly unveiled Air Max 1, which links Japanese vinyl toys to vintage Nike sneakers.
The Terminator Low will now adopt the soft vinyl aesthetic in its own unique way, according to the Swoosh. In its presentation, white and lime green are combined to create an airbrush look that extends from the mudguard to the Swooshes. The customary "NIKE" heel logo is back along with a similar translucent outsole to match the vivid green colour. The majority of the leather base is white, and "Sail" appears at the midsole. The theme is carried over to the outsole, sockliner, and unique shoe box, just like the Air Max 1. To wrap things up, the Swooshes, heel logo, and outsole have a glow-in-the-dark coating.
Regarding the release information for the Terminator Low "Sofvi" and any coordinating pair(s), Nike has not yet made any announcements. Watch this space for additional information as we anticipate the collection's introduction via Nike and select retailers in the upcoming months.
