After delays brought on by Chris "Spanto" Printup, a co-founder of Born x Raised, who tragically died.

In 2023, Nike and its SB label have exciting plans for new footwear collaborations. Among them are partnerships with Run the Jewels and Jarritos, a Mexican beverage company. Now, they're introducing a Born x Raised x Nike SB Dunk Low, featuring a clean white and blue color scheme.

The LA-based streetwear brand, Born x Raised, adds unique touches to the classic SB model. They've replaced the usual dotted perforations on the toe boxes with cross shapes. The heels boast holographic panels and a fresh "Born SB" logo. You'll also find the motto "One Block at a Time" on the tongues and toe tips, possibly in honor of someone special, with laces bearing the words "In Loving Memory." Additionally, the heels feature a 3D block spelling out "On the Turf."

Further details include jeweled eyelets and diamond-shaped perforations. Holographic accents on the Swooshes and co-branded heel tabs add a distinctive touch. Pink embroidered emblems on the heel counters provide an intriguing element. The insoles feature blurred LA street graphics and Born x Raised logos.

Originally set for a July 21 release on Nike SNKRS, the collaboration was postponed due to the passing of Born x Raised co-founder Chris "Spanto" Printup. Now, the capsule collection, including the SB Dunk Low, is scheduled for release on September 28. It's likely to debut through Born x Raised and select skate shops, followed by a later release on Nike SNKRS.
