New Balance and Dover Street Market Reveal Limited Edition 991v2 MADE in UK

New Balance has teamed up with luxury concept retailer Dover Street Market (DSM) to create a special edition of the 991v2 MADE in UK. This all-black iteration preserves the classic silhouette of the retro runner while elevating it with premium Nubuck leather overlays on the mesh upper. Reflective accents on the sway bar and tongue badge add a technical element, while DSM branding appears on the tongue, lateral side tab, and emblem to highlight the collaboration. The sneaker also features full-length FuelCell cushioning, along with classic ABZORB and ENCAP technology for enhanced support and comfort.

This release closely resembles the “Triple Black” 991v2 from January but distinguishes itself with reflective details and DSM-specific branding. New Balance has recently leaned into monochromatic designs, unveiling models like the hybrid loafer 1906L, the 1906A, and the 2002R in all-black colorways. The brand has a history of collaborations with DSM, including a black 991v2 for the TCS London Marathon in March 2024, which incorporated subtle orange and green accents. Their partnership dates back to 2022, when they introduced joint 991 models in gray and khaki, aligning with New Balance’s signature aesthetic.

The New Balance x DSM 991v2 was officially released on February 21, exclusively at Dover Street Market locations worldwide and through the retailer’s online store.
