Jordan Brand Pays Tribute to UK Basketball With the Air Jordan 4 “London”

Jordan Brand has introduced the Air Jordan 4 “London,” a regional-exclusive release created as a nod to the growing basketball culture in the United Kingdom. The design arrives as part of the brand’s wider connection to UK basketball, following the announcement of the London Lions becoming the first British basketball team outfitted by Jordan Brand. Rather than using the traditional nubuck construction commonly associated with the Air Jordan 4, the new iteration opts for a textured shaggy gray suede upper, giving the iconic silhouette a softer and more premium appearance.
The predominantly gray upper is complemented by lighter-toned eyestay clips and side netting, while black elements appear across the midsole, TPU wings and inner lining. Rust-brown accents add contrast to the outsole and branding across the tongue and heel, with a sandy shade extending across the rear section of the midsole. The combination of muted tones gives the sneaker a subdued, earthy aesthetic while maintaining the recognizable structure of the Air Jordan 4.
Several details further reinforce the London theme. At the heel, a translucent layer sits over raised “Air” lettering and a visible “LDN” graphic, creating a distinctive finish that sets the regional edition apart. Inside the shoe, the tongue features a hidden tag carrying the phrase “Say Less,” adding another understated reference to the UK-focused design. Together, these details give the familiar basketball silhouette a localized identity while keeping the overall look relatively minimal.
