The French label brought back the OG Nike sneaker.
Jacquemus’ collaboration with Nike on the original 1972 Moon Shoe was first seen during the brand’s Fall/Winter 2025 runway show and later confirmed to arrive in multiple colorways. The collection officially unveiled pairs in “Black,” “Pale Yellow 2,” and “Dark Red,” each featuring deconstructed uppers, retro Swooshes, co-branded waffle soles, and Jacquemus branding across the design. A Jacquemus-exclusive “Alabaster” colorway also accompanied the lineup alongside “Off Noir” and “University Red.”
The sneakers were constructed with ruched nylon uppers and Nike Regrind outsoles, blending modern craftsmanship with the shoe’s original racing DNA. Co-branded packaging paid homage to Nike’s Blue Ribbon Sports era while Jacquemus details appeared on the tongue, heel, and sockliner. The collection was released on September 29 via Jacquemus’ website, followed by a wider drop on October 6 through Nike SNKRS.
