Nike continues to honor the legacy of Kobe Bryant with another striking addition to its growing collection of tribute sneakers. Following the release of the “Soft Yellow” Protro version earlier this month, a new “Court Purple” colorway of the Nike Air Force 1 Low has surfaced, drawing attention with its rich monochromatic palette. First previewed at the end of May 2025, the sneaker features a bold, snakeskin-inspired upper entirely covered in deep purple, adding texture and visual impact to the low-top silhouette.
The design includes subtle but meaningful nods to Bryant throughout. The Sheath logo is placed at the tongue, while silver lace dubraes on each shoe read “Mamba” and “Forever.” On the heel tabs, the numbers “8” and “24” — representing Kobe’s two jersey numbers during his career — reinforce the tribute. While Nike has yet to announce an official release date, the pair is expected to launch this fall via Nike SNKRS and select retailers, priced at $130 USD.
