Honoring the grand theaters of Paris.
The Nike SB Dunk Low “City of Cinema” draws inspiration from the grand theaters of Paris, embodying the elegance and historic charm of these iconic venues. The sneaker features a luxurious velvet-like base, complemented by yellowed cracked leather overlays that honor the architectural significance of these theaters. The deep maroon velvet on the tongue and collar mirrors the opulent interiors found in such classic venues, adding a touch of sophistication to the design.
Recent updates to the sneaker’s design include several notable changes from the initial sample. The black Swooshes with white contrast stitching replace the original gold Swooshes, while maroon laces now match the velvet collar, as opposed to the mustard yellow laces previously seen. The midsole has been altered from its initial yellow base with stained detailing to a cleaner off-white finish. Additionally, the outsole has transitioned from a translucent to a brown color, and the thematic sockliner graphic has been updated to reflect these changes.
The “City of Cinema” SB Dunk Low is scheduled for release on December 14 via Nike SNKRS and select skate shops. This release will celebrate the grandeur of Parisian theaters with its updated design, offering sneaker enthusiasts a taste of the city’s cinematic heritage.
