Nyjah Huston’s newest signature sneaker is set to release later this year.
Nyjah Huston and Nike SB are gearing up to release the highly anticipated SB Nyjah 4 later this year, continuing the evolution of Huston’s signature line. The SB Nyjah 4 follows the aesthetic direction established with previous models, including his first signature sneaker, the SB Nyjah Free, which launched in 2018. However, this new iteration introduces several technical updates that distinguish it from its predecessors. While the SB Nyjah 3 was inspired by the Air Zoom Spiridon and featured a sock-like inner sleeve, and the SB Nyjah Free 2 prioritized lightweight flexibility, the SB Nyjah 4 opts for a more traditional tongue.
The sneaker also boasts new features, such as a rubberized mudguard over a reinforced mesh upper for durability, a large TPU heel clip, and a Zoom Air unit in the heel to enhance impact protection during high-intensity skateboarding. Despite these updates, the SB Nyjah 4 retains some familiar elements from the previous models, particularly the translucent, tacky outsole that enhances boardfeel and grip, as well as a bespoke traction pattern to provide stability. The overall design remains clean and minimalist, with subtle branding, including medium-sized Swooshes on both the lateral and medial sides, a small embroidered Swoosh at the top of the toebox, another Swoosh on the outsole, and a barely-visible “Nyjah” wordmark on the tongue’s pull tab.
Although early product images of the Nike SB Nyjah 4 briefly appeared on the Zumiez webstore, they were quickly removed. The sneaker is expected to launch in late summer or early fall, with a retail price of $110 USD. As the release date draws closer, more details are anticipated, and skateboarding enthusiasts and sneaker fans alike are eagerly awaiting this next chapter in the collaboration between Nyjah Huston and Nike SB.
