Nike is continuing to expand its Kobe Bryant-themed footwear collection with a fresh tribute to the late basketball legend—this time in the form of the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Court Purple.” Following the release of two Kobe-inspired Air Force 1 Lows last year and the reveal of a “Soft Yellow” colorway by Vanessa Bryant, this new version adds another layer to Nike’s ongoing homage to Bryant’s legacy. The sneaker surfaced recently through a series of low-resolution images, offering an early look at what fans can expect.
The “Court Purple” iteration stands out with its bold, deep purple colorway that covers the entire upper. A closer look reveals a textured, snakeskin-inspired material used throughout, a design nod to Kobe’s “Black Mamba” nickname. Additional tribute details include a miniature version of Kobe’s Sheath logo placed near the toe, accompanied by a silver “FOREVER” dubrae on the left shoe—likely paired with a “MAMBA” dubrae on the right. An “8” appears on one of the heel tabs, referencing the jersey number Kobe wore during the early part of his NBA career.
As of now, Nike has not officially confirmed the release date for the Kobe Bryant x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Court Purple.” However, it is expected to launch later this year via Nike SNKRS and select retailers. The sneakers are anticipated to retail for $150 USD. Fans of Kobe and collectors alike will be keeping a close eye out for official images and announcements in the coming months.
