Following its debut for the Kith Manhattan reopening, the release is now planned for all Kith locations and online.

To kick off 2025, New Balance introduced two new silhouettes: the 2000 and the 2010. While the 2000 takes on a sleek and modern aesthetic, the 2010 leans into classic New Balance DNA, featuring familiar elements such as a mixed-material upper and the iconic “N” branding on the midfoot. Though the silhouette had yet to be officially announced by New Balance, it made an early appearance in a campaign by Kith, sparking immediate interest among fans of both brands.

The collaboration between Ronnie Fieg and New Balance brought two unique versions of the ABZORB 2010 to life. One pair featured a vibrant mix of purple, pink, blue, off-white, and black, while the second leaned into bolder contrasts with black and yellow, offset by hints of gray, pink, and purple. Subtle details like Kith’s monogram across the “N” logos and co-branded tongue tags added depth to the design. Fieg also revisited his roots with the project, unarchiving his old blog and sharing a behind-the-scenes look into the inspiration behind the shoes — a nod to the formative year of 2010, when Kith was first launched.

The sneakers were first released in limited quantities on May 16, coinciding with the reopening of the Kith Manhattan flagship store. The launch served as a celebration of both Kith’s legacy and the long-standing creative relationship between Fieg and New Balance. Shortly after, on May 19, the ABZORB 2010s received a wider release across all Kith storefronts, including its online platform, making the collaboration accessible to a broader audience.
