The collection takes a nostalgic trip through Shibuya rooftops and retro technology, reimagining BAPE’s classic streetwear style.
BAPE brought back the spirit of the early 2000s with its Spring/Summer 2026 “Golden Era” collection. The release reimagined the bold streetwear style that defined a generation, set against striking Tokyo scenes, from Shibuya rooftops to traditional Japanese homes, featuring a surreal TV installation displaying archival visuals.
The menswear range showcased standout pieces like the Multi Pixel Camo and Glitch Woodland Camo, along with Bapeman-X hoodies with mesh eye panels inspired by American comics. The women’s line added a playful twist with pink-orange colorways and rhinestone-adorned Baby Milo accessories, while the Japanese Indigo Art Camo honored the brand’s heritage with traditional artisanal touches combined with BAPE’s signature Line Camo.
Blending athletic-inspired jerseys with classic varsity jackets, the collection merged energetic sports vibes with lo-fi streetwear aesthetics. The full collection launched globally on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at BAPE stores and online.
