Currently planned for release throughout the holiday season is the all-black ensemble.

With fresh (and recognisable) styles appearing frequently, fans of the late Kobe Bryant and his adored Nike Kobe line are thrilled to finally completely plunge back into the franchise. Last month, Nike not only released the Kobe 8 Protro "Halo," but also brought back four popular models, including the Kobe 6 Protro "Grinch," to honour Kobe Day and his birthday. Another sneak peek of what's coming up for the queue has just shown.

A "Black Mamba" colorway of the Nike Kobe 4 Protro has recently appeared, expanding the model's 2023 lineup. Its construction makes use of a black nubuck basis with snakeskin overlays and Swooshes that also favour an all-black appearance. The only colour used throughout is Bryant's signature in gold at the lateral heel, keeping the shoe's overall design inconspicuous. The tongue's Kobe logo and a "24" stamp at the heel serve as typical co-branding.

A potential release date of December 26 has been set via Nike SNKRS and specific Nike Basketball shops at a cost of $180 USD. This is while we wait for formal confirmation from the Swoosh regarding the Kobe 4 Protro "Black Mamba" and its release method.
