This July, there will be another release honouring MJ's college.
Nike has released official photos of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "UNC Toe". Mark July 22, 2023 on your calendars because Nike SNKRS and a few Jordan retailers around the world will be releasing these Tar Heel-friendly trainers in complete family sizes.
Since Jordan shoes have been around for almost 40 years, one way Jumpman designers keep things interesting is by creating a flood of throwback models that honour different eras of the six-time champion's illustrious career. His time at the University of North Carolina is a recurring motif, and it will once more be seen on the next Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "UNC Toe" makeup.
Early pictures of the couple provide us a close-up view of its general structure. Given that the color-blocking is nearly identical, one may immediately connect this release to the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Obsidian" that was launched in 2019. The ankle flaps and lower heel overlays are accented with "University Blue" in Tar Heel fashion, while the quarter panels and midsoles are covered in white. The "University Blue" toe boxes, solid black Swooshes, laces, tongues, ball-and-wings branding, and forefoot overlays that distinguish this version from others let it to stand alone.
Considering copping? These are rumoured to release on July 22, 2023 in complete family sizes.
