Three distinct colorways of the classic runner.
With this ongoing New Balance Made in USA line, Teddy Santis has had a busy few months of releases, but he is now turning his attention back to Aimé Leon Dore for a forthcoming collaboration.
Santis posted on his Instagram story samples of three upcoming Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 860v2 hues. The trainers' colour choice is understated in usual form. The shoes have a mesh-based upper and come in a red, blue, and green colour scheme. The label "Santis" is printed on the footbed. On the technological front, the shoe's midsole will be made of N-Ergy foam.
The New Balance 860v2 was initially introduced in 2011, placed on hold for a few years, and then retroed in 2019—this time in partnership with Montreal's Dime.
There is no information on the availability of these trio of Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 860v2 trainers, despite an early glimpse from Santis. In the upcoming weeks, be sure to check back at Hype Vault for official updates.
Update (03/31): Teddy Santis, the founder of Aimé Leon Dore, provides the best look at the collaboration in green after giving a teaser of three Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 860v2 colours last month (seen below). Although a release date has not yet been determined, further information is anticipated shortly.
