Reviving the legendary black, white, and blue color palette from fragment design’s 2014 Air Jordan 1 collaboration.
Hype around the Air Jordan 1 continues to build ahead of its 40th anniversary in 2025, with a major collaboration between Union LA, fragment design, and Jordan Brand now in the spotlight.
Following early rumors last year, the first look at the Union LA x fragment design x Air Jordan 1 High OG has finally surfaced. The design brings back the iconic black, white, and blue color scheme from fragment design’s 2014 AJ1, while incorporating Union LA’s signature stitched detailing and branding. Notable features include a “UNION” tag beneath the Wings logo, fragment’s lightning bolt at the heel, and exposed foam at the collar — a fresh twist on the original look. Other details include a white outsole (instead of the original blue) and text on the midsole paying tribute to both Hiroshi Fujiwara of fragment design and Chris Gibbs of Union LA.
While the leaked pair is believed to be an early sample, the final retail version is expected to stay true to this design. The release is currently slated for Spring 2026 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers. Stay tuned for further updates as more details emerge.
