50 times larger than anticipated before the auction.

Sotheby's recently sold eight pairs of 'Virgil Abloh x Futura Labs' Nike Dunk Low trainers for prices that were significantly higher than their pre-auction estimates. The size 10 pair in the orange hue, which sold for $107,950 USD (almost 50 times more than the initial predicted price range of $2,000–$4,000 USD), received the highest winning big.

The Orange colorway truly earned more bids than its Blue cousin, as shown in the results. From $25,400 USD for the size 5 to $82,550 USD for the size 11, winning bids for the Blue editions were placed. For a size 6 pair, the Orange version's lowest winning offer came in at $57,150 USD.

The Virgil Abloh Foundation, the charitable arm of Virgil Abloh Securities that will debut later this year, will receive 100% of the auction's revenues. The Foundation will keep encouraging young people from various backgrounds to pursue artistic vocations. In addition, Futura's choice of the Art for Justice Fund, Innocence, and the Boys & Girls Club of America will get half of the money donated by the Virgil Abloh Foundation.
