This adds to the growing list of rumored cancellations by Jordan Brand.

Travis Scott made headlines at the 2024 GRAMMY Awards with his performance of “FE!N” alongside Playboi Carti, drawing significant attention to his collaboration with Jordan Brand. Later that night, his first signature shoe, the Jordan Jumpman Jack in “Sail,” was released via a shock drop in extremely limited quantities, showcasing Scott's ongoing influence in the sneaker world. In addition to this silhouette, Scott has prepared several Air Jordan 1 Low OGs for 2024, including previously rumored colorways like “Canary” and “Black Olive.”

A new “Pale Vanilla” look was also anticipated to be the third addition this year, with reports from reputable sneaker leaker zSneakerHeadz suggesting it would feature a blend of “Pale Vanilla,” “Black,” “Cream II,” and “Muslin,” along with the signature reverse Swoosh that Scott is known for. However, excitement has been tempered by recent developments in the rumor mill, as several anticipated releases have reportedly been canceled.

In particular, alongside the cancellation of the Air Jordan 5 “Black Cat,” it seems that the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low collaboration may also be off the table. Sneaker insider MrUnloved1s shared this update, which was subsequently retweeted by zSneakerHeadz, highlighting the uncertainty surrounding these releases. As of now, neither Travis Scott nor Jordan Brand has confirmed any details regarding the “Pale Vanilla” colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG. Fans are encouraged to stay tuned for more updates, including a first look at the pair in the coming months, with a release anticipated this holiday season via Nike SNKRS and select retailers.
