Building on the black version of the colorway originally designed as a PE in 2022.
Rui Hachimura, who has been a standout for the Los Angeles Lakers since his trade to the team in 2023, continues to strengthen his creative partnership with Jordan Brand. Following his work on unique Air Jordan colorways, including last year’s Air Jordan 38 collaboration, Hachimura is now set to revisit the Air Jordan 1 Low OG in 2025 with a fresh take on his “Cranes” theme, this time featuring an “Oatmeal” colorway.
The design draws deeply from Hachimura’s Japanese heritage, incorporating sakura blossoms and crane motifs to create a visually striking upper. The neutral oatmeal tones are contrasted with dark gray Swooshes and matching heel tabs, while a golden Swoosh outline and a gum outsole provide additional depth and sophistication. This iteration serves as a sequel to his black “Cranes” Player Exclusive (PE), which debuted over two years ago alongside a matching Air Jordan 36 design, further expanding his signature aesthetic.
Although Jordan Brand has yet to confirm a specific release date, the “Oatmeal” Air Jordan 1 Low OG is expected to launch next spring. Stay tuned for updates as the pair will likely be available via Nike SNKRS and select retailers.
