The esteemed shoe pays tribute to Michael Jordan’s alma mater.

A refreshed version of the popular Air Jordan 1 High OG “UNC” is reportedly slated for release in Summer 2025. According to Sneaker Files/zsneakerheadz, the “UNC Reimagined” will retain the original 1985 colorway but with an unspecified “twist.” While the updated version has not been revealed, it will feature the classic white base and “Dark Powder Blue” overlays that pay tribute to Michael Jordan’s alma mater, the University of North Carolina.

Previously, Virgil Abloh showcased his own version of the iconic shoe at the 2018 Met Gala, and Chrome Hearts also released a variation in subsequent years.
