In the summer of 2024, the CO.JP "Ugly Duckling Pack"-inspired Nike Dunk Low "Veneer," which debuted in 2001, will make a comeback.
The full pack, which was previously available only in Japan, was actually rereleased throughout 2020 in phases, starting with the "Plum" hue and continuing with the "Veneer" and "Ceramic" colorways. Whether or whether this third visit signals an entire Ugly Duckling relaunch is to be determined.
Even so, the retro seems to have been well welcomed; the only obvious change may be slightly darker tones, which are probably just the result of using more modern materials.
The top is largely constructed of pigskin suede, layered in Brown, Green, and Purple tones, with featured colours being Veneer, Deep Purple, and Autumn Green. A little more contemporary mesh tongue with a lace hold in the centre is one minor variation from the original pack that may be noticed.
A White midsole and Violet rubber outsole sit well on top of all this classic flavour. The shoes are anticipated to go on sale for $115 USD on Nike's official website and at select shops in the summer of 2024, however an official release date has not yet been announced.
