The new lower-tier silhouette is scheduled to launch this summer.
The Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 4, once worn by Michael Jordan on NBA courts, are legendary retro silhouettes. Today, the Air Jordan 1 has evolved into a franchise with numerous iterations, like the platform-soled Air Jordan 1 Brooklyn and the sport-ready Air Jordan 1 Golf Mule. Conversely, the Air Jordan 4 has remained in its original form, though it has been reimagined with various colorways and materials.
This is set to change with the arrival of the Air Jordan 4 RM (Restomod) later this year. Initially rumored as a one-off collaboration with Nigel Sylvester, a first look at an in-line pair reveals it is one of eight upcoming pairs, including two collaborative colorways. The Air Jordan 4 RM maintains the traditional sole unit but features a low-top build with a wrap-around cage and mesh overlay at the eyestays.
Nike is preparing to launch the Air Jordan 4 RM, the first proper takedown model of the Air Jordan 4, and has revealed official images of its three debut in-line colorways. The latest to surface is the “Black/Light Bone” look, first seen in February. We await an update from Nike regarding the silhouette’s launch details.
