Nike SB Dunk Low x "What The Lobster" Concepts Release Is Rumored
Serving as the duo's final lobster-themed Dunk.
15 years ago, Boston-based shop Concepts and Nike collaborated on the red SB Dunk Lows with a lobster theme. Since then, the duo has delivered blue, yellow, purple, green, and orange looks, with last year's "Orange Lobster" being the most recent addition.
Today, it was revealed by Sole Retriever that the series will come to a conclusion at the end of the year with a "What The Lobster" colorway that is anticipated to appear in a mismatched configuration based on earlier releases and unreleased samples, as imagined in the mockup above. Many of these pairs had already been displayed by Concepts creative director Deon Point the previous year. Nike has historically given a variety of silhouettes the "What The" treatment; most famously, the SB Dunk Low in 2007.
The reported Concepts x Nike SB Dunk Low "What The Lobster" is anticipated to wrap up the pair's run of SB Dunk Lows with a lobster theme this holiday season. Keep checking back for updates as we wait for a first glimpse and a formal announcement before its foreseeable release via Concepts, Nike, and a few select retailers later this year.
