Nike Released an Air Force 1 Low Pack That Split Patent Leather and Suede in “Triple Black” and “University Red”

Nike gave the Air Force 1 Low a women’s-exclusive refresh with the “Patent Suede” pack, combining glossy patent leather and soft suede across two monochromatic colourways. Rather than using a single material throughout the upper, the design paired patent leather on the toe box and quarter panels with suede or nubuck overlays, creating a striking contrast between polished and matte finishes.

The pack arrived in two clean colour options, “Triple Black” and “University Red,” with each pair dressed entirely in a single hue to highlight the interplay of materials instead of relying on contrasting colours. This understated approach allowed the different textures to take centre stage while maintaining a sleek, cohesive appearance.

Nike left the iconic Air Force 1 Low silhouette unchanged, preserving its familiar shape and proportions. By focusing solely on material updates, the “Patent Suede” pack offered a more refined take on the classic sneaker without altering its timeless design.
