Kith Reworks the adidas Originals Samba With a Denim Finish

The classic Samba receives a contemporary update through contrasting textures and premium denim detailing.

Kith and adidas Originals have continued their long-running collaboration with a fresh interpretation of the iconic Samba, introducing the silhouette in a denim-focused design. The new iteration combines Kith’s contemporary fashion sensibility with the timeless sportstyle identity of adidas Originals, giving the familiar low-top a more refined and distinctive appearance. The sneaker is presented in a single denim-based colorway, with the material choice creating a more casual and nostalgic feel while maintaining the recognizable shape of the Samba. 

The design stands out through its combination of contrasting materials and textures, bringing together denim overlays, pony hair detailing, embroidered elements and a gum rubber sole. These varied finishes add depth to the otherwise familiar silhouette, balancing vintage-inspired touches with a more modern aesthetic. The denim construction gives the sneaker a lifestyle-oriented character, while the gum outsole and classic Samba profile retain its connection to adidas Originals’ sporting heritage. 

As part of Kith’s seasonal lineup, the Samba “Denim” further highlights the brands’ ongoing partnership and Kith’s approach to reinterpreting established adidas silhouettes through premium materials and fashion-driven details. The sneaker was released globally on August 31, 2026, through Kith’s flagship stores, online platforms and app across New York, London, Paris and Tokyo.
