Combining elements from the 2002 and the 890v3, the 1890 takes on a refined look with all-black detailing.

JJJJound teamed up with New Balance to deliver a refined take on the 1890, applying its signature minimalist approach in a sleek black-and-white colorway.

The design took on a tuxedo-inspired look, with black mesh uppers, overlays, and taping contrasted by a white tongue and midsole, while the glossy black detailing evoked satin lapels for a polished finish.

Built on a hybrid foundation combining elements from the 2002 and 890v3, the sneaker featured an ABZORB midsole for cushioning, with JJJJound keeping technical changes minimal and focusing instead on subtle material updates and understated co-branded detailing.
