Stay tuned for the highly anticipated collaboration to arrive in stores shortly.
Sneaker collaborations have become integral to JJJJound's successful business strategy. Following the release of its Montreal-exclusive New Balance 990v3, the brand is now hinting at an upcoming adidas Samba capsule. The popularity of the Three Stripes brand has soared in recent years due to its numerous partnerships, and JJJJound's knack for enhancing trending silhouettes further underscores the significance of this collaboration.
At first glance, the pair closely resembles the iconic white, black, and gum Samba model. It retains many of the original details, such as the gum midsole and outsole, grey suede toe cap, and black midfoot Three Stripe logo. However, subtle modifications include a slightly off-white leather upper and "JJJJound" replacing the gold foil adidas branding on the lateral midfoot. Additionally, earthy gold accents adorn the leather collar lining, with another co-branded stamp visible on the inner medial portion.
After months of anticipation and early previews, JJJJound has finally teased its inaugural collaboration with adidas, infusing its tasteful aesthetic into the popular Samba silhouette. The classic white and black color scheme is elevated with a JJJJound gold stamp on the lateral side, while the mustard-finished lining and white sockliner feature additional JJJJound branding. Notably, each pair is crafted in Germany, potentially justifying the previously-rumored $250 USD price tag.
