In the approaching holiday season, various celebrations are on the horizon. From Mexico's Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) in early November to the Chinese New Year festivities in early 2024, Nike is set to unveil a range of themed sneakers. Focusing on the Día de Muertos collection for 2023, four distinctive sneakers have been curated.

Continuing from last year's "Somos Familia" offering, the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT 2, Dunk Low, Air Max 1, and Blazer Mid have all been reimagined with Día de Muertos in mind. The Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT 2 features an interplay of black and gold against a flower-adorned backdrop, with skull motifs adorning the lateral heel and sockliner. The Dunk Low draws inspiration from the marigold flower, reflecting in the embroidery on the lateral heel and a textured upper combining black and gold tones. The Air Max 1 embraces pink across the upper, with vibrant thematic embroidery throughout. Lastly, the Blazer Mid presents a more subdued design with golden crescent embroidery at the heel, complemented by white, gold, and black detailing.

Nike has unveiled its latest collection, titled "Con Mi Familia" (With My Family), honoring the memories shared between the departed and the living in celebration of Día de Muertos. This four-piece footwear lineup includes the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT 2, Dunk Low, Air Max 1, and Blazer Mid. The release begins today, October 18, for Nike Members in Mexico, followed by a global release on October 21 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers. Stay tuned for updates on the release of the Air Max 1 and Blazer Mid, as they are expected to join the other two styles in their release this month.
