Vanessa Bryant debuted the new design at the Mamba League Invitational.
Nike Basketball officially debuted the Kobe 3 in Protro form over the weekend with the release of the “Halo” colorway. Positioned as the most advanced Protro yet, the updated version of the 2008 classic comes equipped with a full-length Zoom strobel and a reengineered mesh upper, delivering both comfort and performance upgrades for modern athletes. The launch highlighted Nike’s continued effort to evolve Kobe Bryant’s legacy on the court while respecting the original design.
Shortly after, Vanessa Bryant unveiled the Kobe 3 Protro Low during the Mamba League Invitational, offering fans a first look at the low-top iteration of the model. The sneaker bundles all the innovative features of the Protro into a sleeker, lower cut to appeal to hoopers who prefer more flexibility around the ankle. Presented in an all-white “Halo” finish, the pair shown was a promotional sample not scheduled for retail, but Nike’s design team confirmed the Protro Low will become a key part of the line moving forward. With official releases expected to land next year, the Kobe 3 Protro Low is set to continue the momentum of the revitalized silhouette across all levels of play.
