Following the announcement of a new Union LA x Air Jordan 1 High OG colorway in August, sneaker leaker @sharkicks1 has revealed a first look at the upcoming pair. This model continues the patchwork style from the original Union LA collaborations in 2018, featuring a “Shadow” collar stitched onto a “Chicago” upper, with powder blue thread highlighting the seam. Additional details include a paper-like tongue tag, exposed seams, an “aged” midsole, and illustrations on the insole that reference the design process.

Reports indicate that this collaboration is expected to release on February 12, 2025, although this has not been confirmed by Jordan Brand or Union LA.

As 2025 marks the 40th anniversary of the Air Jordan 1, Jordan Brand is planning various releases to celebrate, including a “Shattered Backboard” reissue and an “UNC Reimagined” colorway. Rumors suggest another collaboration with Union LA on the Air Jordan 1 High OG, which may echo the mismatched collar design from their 2018 partnership.
