Initially rumored as a new “White,” “Varsity Red,” and “Black” colorway, the original design is set to make a comeback later this year.
Jordan Brand is set to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Air Jordan 1 in 2025, with the highly anticipated return of the Air Jordan 1 Hi ‘85 “Chicago.” Initially rumored to feature a new take on the classic “White,” “Varsity Red,” and “Black” color scheme, recent previews confirm that the shoe will retain its iconic “Chicago” color blocking.
The updated Hi ‘85 version includes signature design modifications such as a smaller Wings logo, an altered Swoosh shape, and a raised collar, staying true to the original 1985 silhouette. This release follows the 2022 Air Jordan 1 High OG “Lost & Found” and marks another major comeback for the beloved colorway.
While official details are yet to be confirmed, early images suggest a faithful recreation of the legendary sneaker. Stay tuned for further updates as Jordan Brand continues its anniversary celebrations.
