In anticipation of 2024, Jordan Brand is set to kick off the year with a Chinese New Year collection celebrating the Year of the Dragon. The spotlight is on the Air Jordan 1 Low OG, which has received a thematic design. Detailed images give us a closer look at what's in store. You can expect to find this pair on shelves starting January 24, priced at $160 USD, available on Nike SNKRS and select retailers.
As we head into the final quarter of 2023, the sneaker lineup for 2024 is slowly unveiling. The latest addition is the "Year of the Dragon" colorway on the Air Jordan 1 Low OG. Following last year's "Year of the Rabbit" collection, Jordan Brand is back to mark Chinese New Year with a dragon-inspired finish on the AJ1 Low.
Starting with a "Sail" leather base on the upper, it harmonizes with "Oil Green" scale overlays from the mudguard to the heel counter. The Swooshes shine in red, matching the laces, tongue tag, and the embroidered Wings logo on the heel. Gold accents the heel tab and the Nike Air branding on the tongue, while silver graces the lining and semi-translucent outsole. The design is completed with thematic details on the sockliner, inside of the tongue, and a celebratory red envelope.
