Nike Basketball officially revived the Nike Kobe collaboration this year on Kobe Day (August 24). Preceding this, on the late Kobe Bryant’s birthday, the Nike Kobe 8 Protro showcased an all-white “Halo” colorway, followed by four restocks on Kobe Day, featuring classics like the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Grinch.” Looking ahead to 2024, a significant release from Nike Basketball introduces the Kobe 8 Protro in a fresh “Radiant Emerald” color scheme.

In this distinctive design, white dominates the majority of the shoe's base, covering the lining and midsole, while a distinctive greenish-blue shade adds vibrancy. The "Radiant Emerald" accents appear on the Nike Kobe branding at the tongue, the embroidered Swooshes, the signature detail at the heel, and the semi-translucent outsole. Additionally, the numbers “8” and “24” are repeated in blue throughout the upper as a tribute to both jersey numbers Bryant wore during his NBA career.

The anticipated release date is February 8, available via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a price of $190 USD.
