Nike Basketball officially relaunched their collaboration with Kobe Bryant this year on Kobe Day, August 24. Just before that, on Kobe Bryant's birthday, the Nike Kobe 8 Protro was released in an all-white "Halo" colorway. Four more restocks happened on Kobe Day, featuring classics like the Nike Kobe 6 Protro "Grinch." Looking ahead to 2024, a significant drop from Nike Basketball introduces the Kobe 8 Protro in a fresh "Radiant Emerald" color scheme.

This distinctive design primarily features white on the shoe's base, including the lining and midsole, while a unique greenish-blue shade brings vibrancy to its appearance. The "Radiant Emerald" color accents the Nike Kobe branding on the tongue, the embroidered Swooshes, the distinctive detail at the heel, and the semi-translucent outsole. Additionally, the numbers "8" and "24" are incorporated into the upper in this blue shade as a tribute to both jersey numbers Bryant donned during his NBA career.

As of now, specific release details for the Nike Kobe 8 Protro "Radiant Emerald" are yet to be confirmed. However, it's anticipated to drop via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a new starting price of $190 USD on February 8.
