Michael Jordan's PE colour scheme served as inspiration.
Fans of the Air Jordan 2 Low will have several possibilities to purchase a pair in 2023 thanks to Jordan Brand's efforts. Together with the "Cherrywood" hue that was discovered yesterday, it seems like one of Michael Jordan's PE makeups is now available for purchase.
In 1986, Jordan donned a high-top Air Jordan 2 with a UNC blue accent on the heel during a separate Carolina Pro Alumni game. The Converse Fastbreak Mid and that pair were included in the "The 2 That Started It All" collection, which was finally released in 2017.
A women's version of the Jordan 2 Low in the "UNC to Chicago" hue, which honours Jordan's journey from the University of North Carolina to the Chicago Bulls, is also scheduled to release in March.
We now have a first glimpse at the grade-school sizing of this year's "UNC" Air Jordan 2 Low thanks to @zSneakerheadz on Instagram and Sneaker News. On July 22, this PE-inspired colorway is anticipated to go on sale for $150 (retail).
