The exclusive collab brings automotive-inspired details to two special editions.
Nike dropped its next big collaboration with the Air Max DN8, this time with Victor Victor.
The Nike Air Max DN8 saw its latest collaboration with music producer Steven Victor and his record label Victor Victor Worldwide, which oversees artists such as Ski Mask the Slump God, NIGO, and the late Pop Smoke. As an avid automotive enthusiast, Steven infused both colorways with motorsport-inspired elements across the design and silhouette of the DN8.
The “NYC” colorway featured an all-black upper with multicolor accents referencing automotive airfoil schematics, complemented by a rainbow effect on the outsole, darkened Air Max bubbles in the midsole, vibrant laces, and a Victor Victor helmet keytag. The contrasting “Tokyo” edition arrived in a metallic silver finish with chrome and carbon fiber details at the heel, icy “VICTOR” soles, and subtle Victor Victor branding on the insole and sizing tag.
Both pairs were released later in the summer, with the NYC version arriving first on September 13, followed by the Tokyo colorway on September 15. Ahead of launch, an exclusive edition of Hypedrive’s Cars & Kicks event in Brooklyn on September 6 gave select guests early access to the NYC pair.
