The Air Jordan 1 is gearing up for another major moment, and one of the most anticipated drops on the horizon is the fragment design x Union LA x Air Jordan 1 collaboration. First rumored last year, the project quickly became reality when Hiroshi Fujiwara was spotted wearing a new “Black/White” colorway, which followed the earlier reveal of its blue counterpart. This upcoming edition highlights a clean black-and-white color blocking, midsole text along the lateral, Union LA’s signature exposed collar stitching, and fragment design’s instantly recognizable thunderbolt logo stamped at the heel.
More recently, updated in-hand looks revealed a subtle tweak — the fragment logo at the heel now stands out in crisp white, replacing the tonal black version seen in early teasers. The collaboration blends Union LA’s reimagined AJ1 styling with fragment’s minimalist design codes, making it a standout in Jordan Brand’s lineup for next year. While an official release date has not yet been confirmed, both the “Black/White” and blue colorways are expected to hit shelves next spring via Nike SNKRS and select retailers, priced at $200 USD.
