The new colorway is slated for release this October.
As Jordan Brand continues to honor 40 years of the iconic Air Jordan 1, the Air Jordan 5 is also getting well-deserved attention for its own milestone—35 years since its original release. While classic colorways like the beloved “Fire Red” are making a return, the silhouette is also being refreshed through collaborations with labels like Awake NY and Paris Saint-Germain. Adding even more excitement to the anniversary celebrations, a new “35th Anniversary” colorway is now confirmed to be on the horizon.
First reported by zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files, and now seen in official images, the upcoming Air Jordan 5 “35th Anniversary” edition features a white leather upper, accented with a soft “Medium Soft Pink” hue. The pink appears across several key design elements, including the “23” embroidered on the side, the Nike Air branding on the heel, the inner lining, midsole spikes, and a portion of the lateral heel. The rest of the midsole comes in black, while an icy translucent outsole completes the clean and contemporary look.
Although Jordan Brand has yet to officially announce the drop, the sneaker is expected to release on October 11 via Nike SNKRS and select Jordan retailers. Priced at $210 USD, this release joins a growing list of anniversary-themed Jordans that have made 2025 a major year for retro sneaker fans. Stay tuned for further updates as the release date approaches.
